Experience naturally beautiful skin with the power of pure, Chilean rosehip seed oil.
Try it. Love it.
Rosa Mosqueta rosehip oil is the most effective plant oil for skin repair and restoration. It can help to fade the appearance of wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, sun damage and age spots, and also hydrates dry, parched skin.
Our oil is pressed from the rosehips of a wild rose called Rosa Affinis Rubiginosa, which grows high in the Chilean Andes. It has been used by South American women for centuries to repair and moisturise their skin.
Pregnancy & Children
If your child has dry skin or scarring, you can rest assured our oil is safe to use, as it’s 100% natural and doesn’t contain any nasties. It’s also safe to use during pregnancy on a growing baby bump, to help prevent stretch marks.
How it works
Rosa Mosqueta oil is packed with skin-boosting nutrients that help to prevent oxidative damage, including vitamins A,C and beta-carotene. It’s also a rich source of Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) Omega 3,6 and 9. EFAs promote healthy cell regeneration at the basal layer of the epidermis. Over time, these healthy cells are pushed towards the surface to repair the skin, fading scars and blemishes.
This oil’s composition is also unique, because it contains Trans Retinoic Acid (a derivative of vitamin A), which helps with the regeneration of skin cells. As the Trans Retinoic Acid is in a natural state, it’s gentle and non-irritating.
Proven in clinical trials
Clinical research in Europe and South America has proven repeatedly that Rosa Mosqueta oil is effective in reducing scars, fading stretch marks and combating signs of ageing. A recent study by Spanish dermatologists used the oil in a clinical setting to test its effectiveness on severe postoperative scarring. In more than 90% of the cases they treated, the results were deemed to be ‘very satisfactory’ after just 6 months of use.
A similar study in Chile, which analysed the regenerative properties of Rosa Mosqueta, found the oil helped to attenuate scarring, reduce wrinkles and improve skin tone.
How to use
Apply 1-2 drops of the oil 2-3 times per day. Massage into the skin with your fingertips, using small circular movements for 2-3 minutes to penetrate the deep layers of the epidermis. Expect gradual improvement; best results are achieved after 6 months of continuous use.
It’s suitable for use on sensitive skin, however, it’s always a good idea to try a 24hr test patch on the back of your hand before use, to ensure there’s no allergic reaction. For reducing post-operative scarring, ensure all stitches and dressings are removed before use. Avoid getting the oil in your eye. If this happens simply wash with cold water.
